If you’ve been into Stewart Highland in the last few years, chances are you’ve met Heather — her smiley face, can-do attitude, and professional service are hard to forget.
Heather has been a valued member of the Stewart Highland team since 2017, but her connection to Highlandwear runs much deeper. She grew up around tartan, learning the right way to wear a kilt from a young age — and has been passing that knowledge on ever since, whether asked for or not.
Her father, Robert Strathearn, was a well-respected Pipe Sergeant with the world-renowned Boghall & Bathgate Pipe Band. A shield in his honour is now presented in the Juvenile category at the World Pipe Band Championships — a lasting tribute to his dedication to the piping community, and especially fitting given his belief in nurturing the next generation.
Now at the helm of Stewart Highland, Heather brings that same passion, care, and hands-on experience to every fitting. She’s proud to continue the shop’s legacy — and excited to help you find the tartan to look smart in.
